Now the disciples are told to pray in His name (v.13) (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=870\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">John 16:24<\/span><\/a>).<\/h3>\n<h3>Praying in Christ&#8217;s name is to realize one&#8217;s standing in Christ and seek His glory by seeking <u>His<\/u> will.<\/h3>\n<h3>These three verses continue the thought in <a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=830\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">verse 12<\/span><\/a>. The disciples were to ask in Christ&#8217;s name regarding the works they were about to do for Him.<\/h3>\n<h3>Verse 15 is still part of His comforting of the disciples. He&#8217;s encouraging them to continue doing what He&#8217;s asked them to do, even after He&#8217;s gone.
