{"id":682,"date":"2009-10-06T05:00:44","date_gmt":"2009-10-06T11:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=682"},"modified":"2022-01-14T12:56:55","modified_gmt":"2022-01-14T18:56:55","slug":"john-721-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=682","title":{"rendered":"John 7:21-24"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. <\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. <\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at Me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? <\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>The healing of the man at the pool of Bethesda was why the Jews hated Jesus (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=620\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">John 5:1-16<\/span><\/a>).<\/h3>\n<h3>Jesus&#8217; point was that, in order to fulfill the law, they circumcised on the Sabbath if it was the eighth day after a boy was born (v.22) . If circumcision was OK, wasn&#8217;t healing?
