Behold, now is a propitious, epochal season, behold, now is a day of salvation. \u2014 Wuest, page 425.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">______________________________________________________<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">The Apostle points out (v.2) that all Christians should engage in this activity of grace, for it was a time, or day of grace in which God was accepting sinners and saving them. It was a day of salvation because of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the force of the quotation from Isaiah 49:8, where God is heard speaking to His Beloved Son on the morning of the resurrection. He succored Him out of the abyss, and accepted Him and His atoning work\u2014for the resurrection demonstrated that acceptance.
