{"id":446,"date":"2000-01-01T18:59:18","date_gmt":"2000-01-02T00:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/1002things.com\/?p=446"},"modified":"2022-12-07T07:54:25","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T13:54:25","slug":"ephesians-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=446","title":{"rendered":"Ephesians 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>I am struck by the emphasis in these verses in Ephesians 1:3-14.<\/h3>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>who has blessed us<\/strong><\/span> with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">in Christ<\/span><\/strong>, just as <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He chose us<\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">in Him<\/span><\/strong> before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him in love <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He predestined us<\/span><\/strong> to adoption as sons <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">through Jesus Christ<\/span><\/strong> to Himself, according to the kind <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">intention of His will<\/span><\/strong>, to the praise of the glory of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">His grace<\/span><\/strong>, which <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He freely bestowed<\/span><\/strong> on us <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">in the Beloved<\/span><\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In Him<\/span><\/strong> we have redemption <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">through His blood<\/span><\/strong>, the forgiveness of our trespasses, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">according to the riches of His grace<\/span><\/strong> which <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He lavished on us<\/span><\/strong>. In all wisdom and insight <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He made known to us<\/span><\/strong> the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">mystery of His will<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">according to His kind intention<\/span><\/strong> which <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He purposed in Him<\/span><\/strong> with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">in Christ<\/span><\/strong>, things in the heavens and things on the earth. <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In Him<\/span><\/strong> also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">according to His purpose<\/span><\/strong> who works all things <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">after the counsel of His will<\/span><\/strong>, to the end that we who were the first to hope <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">in Christ<\/span><\/strong> would be <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">to the praise of His glory<\/span><\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In Him<\/span><\/strong>, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation \u2014 having also believed, you were <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">sealed in Him<\/span><\/strong> with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">God&#8217;s own possession<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">to the praise of His glory<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am struck by the emphasis in these verses in Ephesians 1:3-14.
