Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em><span id=\"en-NKJV-28127\" class=\"text Rom-8-10\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup>And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>The Holy Spirit is both the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ.<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=3671\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ephesians 1:3<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=3725\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ephesians 3:16-17<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=5279\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2 Corinthians 13:5<\/span><\/a>).<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The indwelling of the Spirit is the indwelling of Christ Himself.<\/h3>\n<h3>We live in dying bodies, but our spirits are secure eternally in life because of the righteousness of Christ.<\/h3>\n<h3>In contrast, God sees our sinful bodies as already dead.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9\u00a0But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.
