{"id":313,"date":"2008-02-24T06:00:39","date_gmt":"2008-02-24T12:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/1002things.com\/?p=313"},"modified":"2022-03-14T07:53:58","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T13:53:58","slug":"romans-511","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=313","title":{"rendered":"Romans 5:11"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-28059\" class=\"text Rom-5-11\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>Joy \u2014 the same Greek word is translated as &#8220;rejoice&#8221; in <a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=307\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">verse 2<\/span><\/a> and &#8220;glory&#8221; in <a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=308\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">verse 3<\/span><\/a>.<\/h3>\n<h3>The atonement is Christ&#8217;s sacrifice. We don&#8217;t receive that, but we do receive the results \u2014 reconciliation.<\/h3>\n<h3>Back to the progression I mentioned a few posts ago:<\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=310\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">vs. 6<\/span><\/a> \u2014 <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">without strength<\/span><\/em> \u2014 God gives us help and power<\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=311\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">vs. 8<\/span><\/a> \u2014\u00a0 <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">yet sinners<\/span><\/em> \u2014 God gives us forgiveness<\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=312\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">vs. 10<\/span><\/a> \u2014 <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">enemies<\/span><\/em> \u2014 God gives us reconciliation<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>11\u00a0And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
