No, but by the law of faith.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">If we could be saved by works, we would have reason to boast. <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=3696\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ephesians 2:8-9<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>Excluded = shut out, no room<\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">Law (in this verse) = principle of procedure. By what sort of principle has boasting been excluded?<\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\"><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">The<\/span> law of faith = (The &#8220;the&#8221; should not be there.) Again, a principle. Justification is by the procedure of faith, not the procedure of works. <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=411\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Romans 11:6<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>27\u00a0Where is boasting then?
