{"id":261,"date":"2007-11-29T06:00:42","date_gmt":"2007-11-29T12:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/1002things.com\/?p=261"},"modified":"2022-03-10T10:22:15","modified_gmt":"2022-03-10T16:22:15","slug":"romans-22-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=261","title":{"rendered":"Romans 2:2-3"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u00a0 <span id=\"en-NKJV-27965\" class=\"text Rom-2-2\"><sup class=\"versenum\">2\u00a0<\/sup>But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. <\/span> <\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em><span id=\"en-NKJV-27966\" class=\"text Rom-2-3\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">3\u00a0<\/sup>And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">According to the truth \u2014 according to facts with nothing hidden, according to God&#8217;s unerring assessment.<\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">Judgment \u2014 In verse 2 &#8220;judgment&#8221; is an adverse sentence. In verse 3, it is the carrying out of the sentence.<\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">Paul is referring to the moralizer who is of the opinion that he doesn&#8217;t sin because he doesn&#8217;t sin outwardly and that he will escape judgment.
