{"id":249,"date":"2007-11-17T06:00:09","date_gmt":"2007-11-17T12:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/1002things.com\/?p=249"},"modified":"2022-03-09T09:23:26","modified_gmt":"2022-03-09T15:23:26","slug":"romans-114-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=249","title":{"rendered":"Romans 1:14-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 align=\"justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Debtor \u2014 Paul was obligated because (<\/span>1) He had to &#8220;pay back&#8221; in service what Christ&#8217;s love had done for him; (2) It was his assignment.<\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Greeks (civilized nations, including Rome) and barbarians (all uncivilized nations) \u2014 those Paul had to pay his debt to<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">Wise and unwise \u2014 cultured and uncultured, people of all degrees<\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">Ready to preach \u2014 Paul&#8217;s preparation was complete.
