10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

12 that is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto), that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

Prosperous (v.10)\u00a0 = material prosperity<\/h3>\n

Will of God (v.10) = gracious design<\/h3>\n

impart (v.11) = sharing, as in handing on what God gave Paul<\/h3>\n

spiritual gift (v.11) = again, the grace God gave Paul<\/h3>\n

establish (v.11) = to lean on a support = faith, to stand fast, rooted, grounded<\/h3>\n

mutual faith (v.12) \u2014 faith in another brings comfort<\/h3>\n

I would not have you ignorant (v. 13) \u2014 that Paul’s ministry was to the Gentiles<\/h3>\n
