12\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

13\u00a0<\/sup>No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God\u00a0is\u00a0faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear\u00a0it.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

14\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

15\u00a0<\/sup>I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

admonition (v.11) = “putting in mind” \u2014 training by word \u2014 encouragement or, as here, warning<\/h3>\n

ends of the ages (v.11) \u2014 end of God’s purpose. The things in past ages happened for examples to those in this age when God’s purpose in Christ has been accomplished.<\/h3>\n

way of escape (v.13) \u2014 through the strength of Christ \u2014 through the fruit of the Spirit<\/h3>\n
