and you have come to need milk and not solid food.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>of whom (v.11) \u2014 Jesus Christ in His Melchizedekian priesthood<\/h3>\n<h3>have become (v.11) = are become \u2014 at a point in the past they grasped the truth (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=1743\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Hebrews 6:4<\/span><\/a> \u2014 enlightened)<\/h3>\n<h3>dull (v.11) = lazy, sluggish \u2014 same as &#8220;slothful&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=1743\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Hebrews 6:12<\/span><\/a>) \u2014 lit. &#8220;no push&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3>hard to explain (v.11) \u2014 not because of the subject but because of the audience<\/h3>\n<h3>They should have been teachers, but they still needed to be taught.<\/h3>\n<h3>by this time (v.12) \u2014 by reason of the time \u2014 considering how long they&#8217;d been receiving instruction<\/h3>\n<h3>again (v.12) \u2014 refers to &#8220;need&#8221; (not to &#8220;teach&#8221;)<\/h3>\n<h3>first principles (v.12) \u2014 elementary truths, rudimentary ideas<\/h3>\n<h3>oracles (v.12) \u2014 utterances of revelation \u2014 see <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/versebyverse.carpelibra.org\/?p=1422\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Acts 7:38<\/span><\/a><\/span>;
