Romans 6:21-22 — What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
end (in both verses) = limit, final result of a process
death = not merely physical but in its most comprehensive state
become servants — as in verse 18, not the act of the individual, but by God's power consequent on the individual's faith
holiness = sanctification as in verse 19
